The Shelby’s reception was full of fun-loving friends and family who cared for and supported this beautiful couple. As I was editing, I caught myself grinning as I remembered this happy day! Take a look back at some of my favorite moments of the Shelby reception.

These two little love birds are clearly so in love. I love it when my couple is so in their own little world together that I hardly have to pose them at all. Kayla and Quinton were totally that couple. Here are a few of my favorite shots of the Mr. & Mrs. 🙂 Enjoy!

This couple. What can I say? Adorable, kind, funny, and always wanting to please one another. They were an absolute dream to work with, and possibly even kindred spirits (as was made evident by the groom’s AWESOME ring and cuff links that made Grady totally jealous!) I’d like to present to you- their ceremony. (plus a couple before shots that I didn’t quite squeeze into my last post. 😉 )

Every time we have the opportunity to photograph a wedding I am reminded of how much I love weddings! This weekend Kayla and Quinton invited us to be a part of their special day and I loved every moment of it. Kayla (while talking to her mom) said it best- “Today is so much fun! I get to have everyone I love together!” With everything going on it can be so easy for a bride to feel so much pressure that she can hardly enjoy her special day. Kayla was a champ at soaking it all in. If she was stressed, she absolutely did not show it. One of the things that I love best about photographing weddings with my husband is that when we get home that night I get to experience the whole wedding again through someone else’s eyes. One of the main things that I miss is the behind the scenes of the groom and groomsman. Tonight that is exactly what I’m going to highlight. I hope you enjoy our perspective of the Shelby’s getting ready for their wedding. <3
Let’s just say that keeping up with the blog is probably not my strong point. That being said, we have several sessions just waiting to be posted! Lots of good things ahead! And for now, I’m going to finish up my blog series on the Sanders’ wedding. Get ready for a photo overload from their reception. Here are a few of my favorites! 🙂
I just realized how many of the photos I picked either include cake or candy. Clearly >this girl< is a sweets junkie! Don’t judge!

We were lucky enough to be invited to photograph Tiffany & Larry Sanders’ wedding. Tiffany and my sister are childhood friends so it feels like I’ve known her forever. Tiffany and Larry were married at Lacey’s Spring United Methodist Church and had their reception at the Huntsville Museum of Art. Here are some of my favorite photos of Tiffany getting ready plus some of the details:) Enjoy!
Keep your eyes peeled for more blog posts from the Sanders’ Wedding!
Since we are good friends with Kalmar’s parents, we really enjoyed spending time meeting him during his newborn shoot. He was quite the trooper! He even cooperated while we tried to coerce his doggy uncles to give him a little kiss. Here are some of my favorites from his newborn session:)
Grady and I know this cute family from church- where this sweet mama and I spent a lot of time together as youth leaders for the girls. We had tons of fun photographing them in downtown Aiken as well as in a nearby field. I just love photographing little kids because their innocence makes for the most adorable pictures. You can tell exactly when they’re concerned, excited, confused, etc. which makes it so easy to capture all of their little expressions. Every parent wants to remember all of the details about their little ones and family photos are a great way to do just that. Here are some of my favorites from the Dickamore Family’s session. Enjoy!
I’d been wanting to do a session on the beach for quite a while. So when your friends, the Nielsens, wanted a maternity session, we packed up and headed over to Sullivan’s Island (right outside of Charleston). It was a beautiful day to be at the beach! The clouds made a beautiful background and kept us from getting too warm. We had a ton of fun together and got some shots that I really love. Here are some of my favorites! 🙂
